We prefer to donate to nonprofits that are helping make climate change improvements such as Winneshiek Energy District, Environmental Law and Policy Center and Iowa Environmental Council

We have invested in a 900 Kilowatt wind turbine and 1,100 Kilowatt of solar facilities that now produce 2,000,000 kilowatt hours annually and a 1950s home to significantly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and install a solar array.  Tax incentives and grants made these projects feasible. All of those projects have been sold.

We deposit money in a bank that maintains a portfolio of renewable energy loans.  

When investing we invest in Socially Responsible Investments that have emphasis on climate change resolutions.
